Way Out Cinderella

In October of 1997, I was asked by the Chagrin Valley Little Theater to write music for a children's play called Way Out Cinderella. Cinderella is from a country called Moravia and she is a Rock and Roll Princess who marries a Prince. He is enthralled with America's "Rock N Roll".

One of the songs I wrote is Your My Teenage Sunfish - which is a funny rock song. Another is a Kinks' sounding lament, sung by Cinderella's mother who is afraid that Cinderella is becoming an old maid. I also wrote incidental music, which includes a Moravian waltz and a John Cage-like background song.
