I began teaching guitar around 1980. Since that time, I've taught about 40 students weekly, which adds up to a lot of experience both with the music as well as the needs of guitar students. As a result, I thought it might be a help to post a few lessons to help you get started. My favorite time of teaching was when i taught talented Lakeland Community College Students, and was able to fill in some of the blanks they were missing.
