Rock of Luv

Short story of my music life

When I was a kid in little league Said coach play or trade me So I put down my glove picked up my guitar

Everything just fell into place In the flow of music and some kind of grace That has brought me pretty far

7 years in the wilderness Felt like Eliot Ness Dodging all the bad guys What a mess

But I had a plate of

Short story of my music life

When I was a kid in little league Said coach play or trade me So I put down my glove picked up my guitar

Everything just fell into place In the flow of music and some kind of grace That has brought me pretty far

7 years in the wilderness Felt like Eliot Ness Dodging all the bad guys What a mess

But I had a plate of righteousness And had a lot to confess But I made some new friends When I left the nest

Didn't know where I fit Didnt know if to stand or sit Lookin for the fire that had been lit

Then came faith on the wings of a dove Sent down from up above I Keep on rockin to the Rock of love

Didn't know where I fit Didnt know if to stand or sit That was no yop 40 hit

Then came faith on the wings of a dove Sent down from up above I Keep on rockin to the Rock of love

Published my music A few thought I was great I could never figure if I was early or late A square peg in a round hole was my fate

Man should not be alone So I tried with love that was on a loan When the bubble burst I came back home

Folk rock and church hurried by Sang for the ground sang for the sky Laughed so hard I thought I'd cry

Somehow I found the holy grail Take this card get out of jail Came out winning Where I thought I'd fail

I didnt know where I fit Didnt get my kicks on Route 66 That was no top forty hit

Then came hope on the wings of a dove Sent down from up above I kept on rockin to the rock of luv

Do You Call That Love?

Denny Carleton

What do You call those kind of realtaionships that Your not sure of what they are yet.

Its time again to start where we left off Ill balance you balance me no charge no cost Once again we are brought together the seasons have healed all our wounds Ive learned so much you forget so little Its all happening so soon

Do you call that love What do you

What do You call those kind of realtaionships that Your not sure of what they are yet.

Its time again to start where we left off Ill balance you balance me no charge no cost Once again we are brought together the seasons have healed all our wounds Ive learned so much you forget so little Its all happening so soon

Do you call that love What do you call that Do you call that love

Youll cry when I tell you I missed you no lover can love like you do Well relax under the sunlight wondering how another year we got through I hear these melodies inside my head Ive got to write another tune Like a love like ouurs will never die it will change rooms

Do you call that love What do you call that Do you call that love

Theres got to be a breakthrough coming somewhere We cant go on this way Dont let the darkness I see around you overtake you Darling Ive got to say If you cant right it then dont you fight it Theres too much living to We cant deny it but neither of us will try it What are we trying to prove

Do you call that love What do you call that Do you call that love

I wrote the first part of the lyrics speaking about all of us hurrying . My guitar student Hanna Talty, who was a student at Kent State University at the time, said she would really like the song, if there was someone who helped slow things down. Hanna came up with the second part of the lyrics.Hurry I can't be late is the world

A glimpse of a better place

After chaos a certain type of order even darkness assumes some kind of border moms and dads love their sons and daughters No ones perfect it's good to be reminded, lose it all it's good to go and find it call on me I really wouldn't mind

A glimpse of a better place

After chaos a certain type of order even darkness assumes some kind of border moms and dads love their sons and daughters No ones perfect it's good to be reminded, lose it all it's good to go and find it call on me I really wouldn't mind it I'ts a glompse of a better place just a hint of amazing grace

Bouncing balls I have tried to follow leaves my heart feeling sad and hollow, then I learned dont worry about tomorrow When all the walls they come tumbiing down and your friends are nowhere to be found call on me and ill be coming round It's a glimpse of a better palce just a hint of amazing grace

In the darkness still there shines a light , there are streetlamps in the darkness night two wrongs never make a right If this world gets blown all asunder and the storms are mixed with hail and thunder underneath still is awe and wonder It's a glimpse of a better place, just a hint of amazing grace
