Since my official retirement in 2016, I have had a ravenous appetite for writing and recording my original material. While riding the learning curve in my home studio, I’ve managed to release 4 solo albums and a few singles. And, I’m prepping for my 5th album to be released this year as I have 14 new songs in the can ready to go.
In addition to that, I have been collaborating with Tommy Allen of the Flashcubes, recording guitar tracks for a string of new releases by Dwight Twilley, The Shoes, The Spongetones, The Pez Band, The Posies, Slade and The Cyrus Erie!
Throughout my career (The Choir, Cyrus Erie, The Quick) I focused on my lead guitar work. But now my focus is on the studio and I find myself in the producer seat looking at the overall picture and the total package. And, while pursuing that goal I have found my niche of being a power pop artist, blending riffs, hooks, harmonies and memorable choruses in the vein of my favorite artists. I feel blessed to be able to “work” at my craft.
