I wrote the song light in the forest in the 1960s with I rewrote the last verse in 2026. I had bought a dulcimer in 1980 and the only song I could ever play on. It was alone in the universe that I got really good at and then here in 2026. I got to play that part when we recorded this CD.

Lyrics

Alone In The Universe
I was alone in the Universe Mother Father Sun or Moon
Couldn't rescue me

Take this darkness away, but you know what was worse
Mother nature, Salvador Dali couldn't rescue me
John Lennon Kahil Gibran couldn't rescue me

You're my light in the forest I'm just a ripple in the sea
You're my light in the forest and you made a way for me

I was alone in the universe My computer
Onlinr text couldn't rescue me
Like and follows useless info
Left me thirsty

You're my light in the forest. I was blind but now I see
You're my light in the forest. Thanks for saving me.
