Fine Arts Association Willoughby Presents Sound Celebrations Denny Carleton And Friends March 8, 2025 7pm Free admission

With the release of the movie about Bob Dylan " A Complete Unknown" (nominated for 8 Oscars) there has been a renewed interest in Bob and Denny will trace some of Dylan's history in a singer songwriter format through a collage of songs and intros and anecdotes .

Playing with Denny on Dylan's classic "Blowing In The Wind " will be his student Bo Brauer, while student Karen Baksa will be singing harmonies on another Dylan favorite "Mr Tambourine Man". . Al Globokar on guitar, (formerly of the iconic Cleveland Band, Circus) and John Hlavka (on accordion, (formerly in the band ,The Elements) will play "Like A Rolling Stone" and more.

Don Veneskey , Jason Jenisek and Nate Janaso from the FPC Willoughby Praise Band will be playing with Denny on two Dylan songs , Maggies Farm and Subterranean Homesick Blues.

Students Xaiver Proboski, Jeff Pakeltis , James McGinnis and Brigid Mullaly will be sitting in with Denny and playing in on some other material besides the Bob Dylan theme.

At Dennys intermission, husband and wife duo Greg Preske and Terry Mach will be performing a couple of songs including Starting 0ver by Chris Stapleton (which seems right for them since this will be the first time that they've played together in a while .)

Greg and Terry will be followed by Tracy Ammon. Tracy is a Fine Arts alumni and Louise Savage was her voice teacher. Currently Tracy is Associate Director of Creative Arts Therapies at Beck Center For the Arts. Tracy has also performed at Eastlake City Hall, the Lake County Fair, Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Very Special Arts Fest in Berea, and leads the Praise Band at Advent Lutheran Church in Mentor.
